My story

Hi — I'm Oliver Hecht, and I'm 14 years old. I started Yo Yards when I was 11 because I'd been helping my parents in the yard for as long as I can remember. At some point I realized: I'm pretty good at this. Why not turn it into something?

What started as a flyer in our neighborhood has grown into a real business. I've mowed lawns, pulled weeds, spread mulch, helped build rock walls, dug up bushes, and kept people's flowers alive while they were traveling. Every summer and fall, I put in real work for real neighbors — and I take that seriously.

I'm not a big company. I don't have a crew of strangers showing up in a truck. When you hire Yo Yards, you get me — someone who lives in your community, cares about doing good work, and will always give you a fair price.

I also believe hiring someone to help with your yard should be simple. No contracts, no confusing paperwork, no hassle. You reach out, I come take a look, we agree on a price, and I get to work. That's it. I'm here to simplify your life — not add to it.

Most kids my age are playing video games. I'm out here learning how to run a business — one yard at a time.
